Position Summary Our strength is in our people.
The customer service specialist is the primary internal contact for our customers and plays a crucial role in customer satisfaction.
Our dedicated customer service team helps our customers by placing orders, responding to inquiries, and engaging with the customer to continue the long-term relationships we have in place.
Key Responsibilities Be open to learning and growing your skills to ensure that our customers receive the highest quality customer service Build good customer relationships with face-to-face interactions, email, and telephone etiquette (no cold calling) Prepare quotes and enter orders Schedule and expedite product to meet customer needs Ensure resolution of any customer concerns Promote Swagelok product and services Keep your knowledge up to date with company provided product training The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, dependable, and have good verbal, listening and written communication skills and pay attention to detail.
Degree preferred or a minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service capacity Attention to detail is very important in this position Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills required Good keyboarding skills (>35 wpm) Above average knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and basic web browsers Experience with SAP business system and knowledge of valves, fittings and hoses is a plus, but not a requirement.
