Job Description
The Database Developer (DBD) is a key position in the design and development at our company. They need to be flexible and open to other team members' ideas. Able to keep up with the growing needs of the company. Able to help solve issues in a timely manner. Able to apply database modifications to a live production environment, ensuring backwards compatibility and no user interruption.
This position s job duties and responsibilities include:
Design, re-architect and alter database structures.
Code stored procedures and backend SQL jobs.
Tune stored procedures and queries to keep performance optimal.
Troubleshoot, identify and fix database performance issues.
Perform extracts, data manipulation and queries of the database for support.
Ensure new database code meets company standards for readability, reliability and performance.
Document the company s database environment.
Qualifications
Required Experience
Degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
2-3 years IT operation with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles and best practices.
Able to trace calls and performing tuning and optimize performance.
Writing and improving SQL Server T-SQL queries for 1-2 years.
Understanding of, and experience with, server-client computing and relational database environments.
Experience with data management and data processing flowcharting techniques.
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Able to make changes to a production environment.
Required Skills
SQL Server 2014
(2016 preferred)
SQL Management Studio
Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Technical documentation skills
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
