We are looking for a collaborative technology professional to support our newly created facilities management organization. This person will own the facilities management platform serving as a liaison with I&T and Design & Construction. Responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of technology solutions for Facilities Management, including but not limited to the oversight of the centralized computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), drawing management platform, building automation strategy and facilities management related network connected equipment.Develops and leads a world class, continuously improving program that emphasizes quality, efficiency and thought leadership as it relates to the built environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Proactively leads the ongoing evaluation, planning and support of the business and technology platforms in support of the facilities management service delivery within the acute care hospital environment. Development and ownership of the system-wide building automation strategy, leveraging the industry moment toward IoT and how facilities management can leverage automation of the built environment to improve patient outcomes and lower the cost of care. Responsible for the design, implementation, deployment, and continuous improvement of the system wide computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), including developing and maintaining standards for the structure of the database. Responsible for the design, business case development and implementation of the system wide drawing management strategy, processes, and tools, including partnering with facilities-based user teams, Design & Construction, Life Safety, and other stakeholders. Proactively identify opportunities for the facilities management technology platform (i.e. integration with other stakeholder systems) to drive efficiencies and lower the total cost of occupancy for the system. Evaluate options, develop business cases, and implement solutions as appropriate. Initiative management responsibilities related to the platform development and changes. Responsible for the engagement and training of the facility-based maintenance teams, Design & Construction and Real Estate teams as well as the on-going partnership with the ministry's Information & Technology (I&T) teams. Serve the system as the chairperson/facilitator of the preventative maintenance committee, ensuring the system's acute care facilities management team is continuously evaluating and evolving the standard maintenance procedures, incorporating code changes and well as industry evolution, evaluating reporting and data analytic needs and ensuring the CMMS content remains current. Provide coaching, development and performance management to direct reports and peers REQUIRED Bachelors Degree in related field 5
years of related experience Project management skills including coordination, communication, prioritization, troubleshooting, and completion goals; proficient in Microsoft Office Self-motivated and able to work independently to find solutions; detailed-oriented with strong analytical skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate and build strong working relationships across multiple user groups PREFERRED Masters Degree in related field Experience or certification in Lean Management Principles or Six Sigma; Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory compliance, Experience with CMMS and drawing management software
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Plant & Facilities ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
