Mental Health Therapist Full-Time /Part- Time / Contract
Aspen Valley Wellness is a progressive integrative mental health wellness center combining traditional therapies with cutting edge technologies for optimal mental health and wellness.
We are opening our Draper location in June and we are looking to hire a few mental health therapists.
We are open to discussing fulltime parttime and contract opportunities.
Associate or fully licensed therapists are welcome to apply.
Must be fully licensed to qualify for contract work.
Fulltime W Maintain a weekly schedule consisting of a minimum of facetoface contact hours including clients and supervisees as assigned.
Use the electronic medical records software to complete and submit all paperwork by the end of the week Friday.
Meet with clients to complete intake and assessment create and update treatment plans and provide individual therapy.
Learn and use a variety of therapeutic interventions that complement traditional therapy including neurofeedback AVECES technology enhanced meditation and other technologies that may be introduced at AVW.
Attend and participate in clinical meetings and supervision appointments.
Maintain a clean professional looking and organized office space that flows with the dcor and feel of the general AVW office.
Purchase and maintain specialized supplies for use during individual therapy appointments including personal computer and EMDR equipment.
Communicate with the practice manager and clinical director regarding time off requests scheduling issues case load management concerns or ideas and training opportunities for CEUs to maintain licensure.
Contracted Communicate preferred schedule caseload and client demographic information with Clinical Director.
Maintain ongoing communication with the Clinical Director to manage preferred caseload numbers.
Cancellations will be made directly with the clients.
Clients cancellation will be managed by the Client Care Coordinator.

Paper files are to remain at AVW in the locked file cabinet when not in use.
Purchase and maintain specialized supplies for use during individual therapy appointments including personal computer and EMDR equipment.
Maintain professional licensure and obtain CEUs as required by the licensing board.
Maintain professional liability insurance and provide updated copies to Practice Manager as needed.
Minimum of Masters Degree in a mental health field.
Associate or fully licensed to practice in Utah.
EMDR and trauma training preferred.
Professional benefits for FullTIme Full time therapists will be reimbursed per year for CEUs.
Additional CEU opportunities may be available depending on the needs of the company.
Specific plans can be worked out on a casebycase basis with the Clinical and Executive Directors.
For example AVW may pay for EMDR training and certification in exchange for a twoyear employment commitment.
AVW pays for a group professional liability insurance policy.
All therapists are added to the group policy.
The therapist may obtain an additional personal professional liability insurance policy if desired.
AVW reimburses professional license renewal fee.
Retirement benefit optional K with employer match Health benefits optional Vision Health insurance BCBS dental is not available currently.
Time off Benefit The office is closed during the week between Christmas and New Years.
Therapists will receive a Christmas bonus for these days.
The bonus will be their weekly average pay based on their yearly average.
This time is not exchangeable for another time during the year.
Therapists can choose to work this week to maximize earning potential and receive the bonus plus regular pay for any clients seen during this week.
However no support staff will be available during the week if therapists choose to see clients.
Unlimited personal time off as long as minimum facetoface hours are maintained on a quarterly basis.
