Accounts Receivable Processor
Now Hiring 2-4 Month Contract Onsite in Draper Utah $21-$22/HR Accounts Receivable In this role, you will prepare customer statements, bills, and invoices, reconcile expenses to the general ledger, answer customer inquiries by phone and email, and maintain accurate accounting records.
Responsibilities:
Collect past due customer invoices and return checks via phone or email to retrieve payment by cash, cashier's check, certified funds, or credit card.
Research discrepant amounts on customer accounts to reconcile and clear invoices, short pay and overpay.
Reconciliation tasks include Excel spreadsheet creation, pricelist review, and collaboration with departments within the sales centers.
Refund customers for over payments, returned product and price corrections by way of check and invoice pulls and correction and pricing backups to justify reimbursement amounts.
Handle customer, public and sales center inquiries via phone or email to resolve concerns and answer questions.
Maintain customer accounts by determining if credit is valid, assess credit terms, and adjust terms as needed to minimize risk and maximize company profits.
Run credit references for current customers to facilitate credit arrangements with other vendors.
Assist customers on our payment portal.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent degree/certificate Demonstrated clear understanding of credit and collections procedures.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
