Employee Engagement & Development Specialist

Our client, a leading multi-national construction and manufacturing company based in Draper, UT is seeking a Learning and Development/Employee Engagement Specialist role to join their team.
This is a newly created role that will support the Director of Human Resources.
Summary:
This position will participate in and support the development, delivery and communication of programs, policies, practices and training that address matters related to employee engagement and development initiatives.
Work activities include designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating Professional and Leadership Development Programs, Organizational Development, Talent Management Workshops, Employee Engagement Events, rewards and recognition initiatives, team building, and organizational culture related to new-hire employee on-boarding, role assimilation and engagement, recognition, and development.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Customize and facilitate workshops, programs to help address organizational needs.
o Coach individual Managers and employees for professional growth development.
o Design processes and programs to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
o Consult with Managers to vet participants for leadership programs.
o Follow up with participants after workshops and training to ensure continuous improvement.
o Conducts design and development work in programs such as the Employee Rewards and Recognition programs and leadership development series.
o Evaluate the effectiveness of various programs (i.
e.
, Rewards and Recognition, Talent Management Programs, learning platforms Bridge, etc.
) o Designs and implements needs analysis planning efforts and make recommendations for changes in processes.
o Continually review and updates course offerings to ensure current relevancy and quality.
o Creates instructional materials for the use of facilitators' training classes.
o Design, update, and assists with on-boarding processes for new-hires.
o Consult with departments to develop programs and provide information designed to enhance employee engagement, team building foundations, and cultural change initiatives.
o Participate in conferences and certification programs to provide continuous improvement of organizational offerings and to network with fellow professionals in other organizations.
o Prepare and present reports monthly/quarterly Employee Engagement and Development Performance Measures.
oPerform exit interviews/surveys and track data for analysis.
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree (B.
A.
) from four-year college, technical school or university in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or Communication - two or more years of related experience; or four to five years related experience/training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
o Certified Professional in Human Resources preferred (PHR / SPHR or SHRM-CP).
o Fluency in Spanish required.
o Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
), as well as HRIS software and database navigation skills.
o Must be willing to travel occasionally.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
