We are seeking a Legal Outsourcing Manager to join our US Debt Purchase Operations team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a significant impact on our business operations.
The Role As a Legal Outsourcing Manager, you will effectively manage the US Legal Administration team and deliver revenue and asset return targets on the Legal Outsourced portfolio.
This includes managing the legal administration team, overseeing the performance of the legal attorney and supplier network, supporting revenue generation, asset management, cost control, minimizing account referral issues, improving efficiency, engaging and on-boarding law firms, contributing to business improvement, and ensuring compliance.
Key Responsibilities Manage the US legal portfolio to achieve collection revenue targets.
Support in setting and managing asset return targets for each segment of the US legal portfolio.
Assist with managing the cost of the internal and external legal network to ensure profit objectives are met.
Support efforts to minimize instances of referral of accounts to law firms, legal networks, and in-house attorneys that cannot be pursued due to deficiencies in account documentation or data.
Assist in minimizing instances of accounts stalling during the legal process.
Contribute to reducing the volume of referred accounts that have closed and are not returned for internal collection activity.
Management of the US legal administration team, ensuring adequate activity level expectations.
Work to minimize avoidable delays in responsiveness to requests from law firms, legal networks, and in-house attorneys.
Direct team towards focus areas, communicating expectations and managing to outcomes.
Continuous improvement efforts.
Skills / Knowledge More than 5 years' experience in a managerial role.
More than 3 years industry experience preferred, ideally in the legal, finance, or debt collection industry.
Demonstrated vendor management experience.
Demonstrated analytical experience.
Proven ability to identify and manage risk.
Success in leading and motivating teams.
High level business communication.
Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office and other project support tools such as Jira and Confluence.
