00 per hour Summary Summit Materials is looking for a mechanically inclined, safety-oriented Loader Operator to operate Front End loaders in a Sand and Gravel Environment.

Equipment inspection log to be turned in daily.
Do not run equipment without performing the inspection.
Fueling of Equipment Equipment is to be fueled at the end of each shift.
Operation of equipment Equipment is to be operated in a safe and efficient manner.
Operator shall always maintain control of the equipment.
Operator shall not idle equipment when not in use.
Turn it off.
Site Observations and Safety Awareness The loader operator's role is key to the success of the operations.
Some items the loader operator should be aware of are:
Maintaining high quality feed material.
Watch for any potential site or plant problems that are within your view.
Be alert to site hazards involved with feeding from the load face of material.
Productivity Seeks to produce material that will provide the most consistent, highest quality end products, under the direction of the leadman and pit supervisor.
Seeks to operate the equipment in a safe and efficient manner Skills & Experience Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to write correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to compute rate, ration, percent, land to draw and interpret bar graphs Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but un-involved written or oral instruction Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary Report to the assigned job site in proper attire and ready to begin work at the designated start time Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Policies, Programs & Procedures Manual Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required Build a lasting career with us.
