Insurance Surgery Coordinator
Peak Plastic Surgery Peak Plastic Surgery Draper, UT Draper, UT Full-time Full-time $18 - $20 an hour $18 - $20 an hour 14 days ago 14 days ago 14 days ago We are looking for a Surgery Coordinator to schedule and get authorization and schedule surgeries for our two surgeons in our growing practice.
1-2 years experience in healthcare preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with other surgeons office and hospitals to coordinate surgeons surgeries Obtain authorization/pre-d for each procedure Calculate and notifying the patient of any costs that need to be collected regarding their deductible and/or coinsurance Schedule patients for surgery Ensure the patient has signed consents leading up to surgery Work as the liaison between the patients, insurance companies, and medical providers Manage the surgery schedule for a provider PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent Working knowledge of Medical terminology SCHEDULE EXPECTATIONS:
Works all shifts as scheduled and assigned This is a full-time position No weekends Must attend monthly staff meetings Job Type:
