Position Overview:
The Graphic Designer is responsible for leading the creative process for creating, designing, and maintaining all company collateral assets for product, solutions, vertical market, sales, marketing, and corporate content. The Graphic Designer will focus on design for print with an emphasis on digital media for Listen's online presence (website, shop listen.net, microsites, video, infographics, social media etc.) The Graphic Designer will uphold and execute the company brand. The Graphic Designer will work with the Product Marketing team to execute the creative and design elements for collateral/tools needed for product marketing activities and messages.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead the creative process for creating, designing and maintaining collateral for product, solutions, vertical market, sales, marketing, and corporate assets content.
Collaborate with product marketing, sales and marketing services team members to create customer support, sales and marketing tools and plan activities ensuring that their needs are met.
o Use the Creative Brief as a tool to capture the needs of the project, get input from team members and validate that the requested needs have been met.
o Use the Marketing Services Task System to track timeframes and accountability of projects.
Participate in weekly Marketing meeting to review projects, set priorities and communicate updates.
Create and lead the design and layout of all Listen collateral
Oversee the look and feel of all online content. Create new and original web content, assist with updating existent web content.
Take new product, application and supplemental photos as needed or lead in the outsourcing of new extensive application or product photos.
Work with outside vendors for printing of any aforementioned materials, ensuring quality and brand standards.
Create ads for print and digital vehicles and direct mail pieces
Conceptualize, organize and execute professional video productions for product marketing, sales and marketing services communication.
Assist in graphic creation for products and packaging design.
Maintain the Visual Brand Standards document
Review and approve all ID on all projects as to maintain consistency with the company's Visual Brand Standards document.
Write and proofread content as needed.
Update collateral as needed.
Flexibility to work extra hours when required.
Use SalesLogix to manage relationships with vendors and customers.
o Track all communication via notes
o Attach files with information on quotes for printing or any items that are provided to contacts
Uphold and execute the company brand, values, philosophy, ethics, culture and integrity with all they conduct business with. This includes but is not limited to:
o Dealers, consultants, distributors, vendors, customers, employees and fellow Listen employees.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or related field preferred or a minimum of three years work experience in Graphic Design or Visual Communication.
Proven proficiency of Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder as well as the Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to use various online marketing tools i.e. Sprout, YouTube, SwiftPage, Magento, and Istockphoto.
Solid writing and proof-reading skills.
Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.
Photography experience is a plus.
Copywriting experience a plus.
A basic understanding of marketing concepts and procedures.
A basic understanding of the printing and production process.
Ability to multi-task and meet aggressive deadlines.
Attention to detail, positive attitude, willingness to learn, ability to work both as part of a team and independently.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
