Payroll Clerk
O'Currance Teleservices is seeking a part-time Payroll Clerk to oversee the efficient and accurate preparation, execution, and recording of OCI payroll processes. Relevant duties include:
Effectively manage OCI payroll functions in conjunction with third-party vendor;
Maintain payroll journals and accurately enter payroll data into QuickBooks;
Oversee reconciliation of payroll deductions;
Calculate and process sales commissions and employee bonuses;
Conduct month end close for payroll in QuickBooks;
Provide payroll reporting as required;
Ensure payroll practices align with applicable laws, standards, and company needs.
Qualified applicants will possess the following:
Experience administering payroll functions in a fast-paced environment;
Sound understanding of payroll processes, regulations, and standards of best practice;
Experience with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks;
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills;
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) as well as interpersonal and relationship building skills;
Proven ability to work successfully in a team environment;
Highly organized and detail oriented;
Strong sense of responsibility and follow-through;
Strong understanding of the analysis and reporting of financial data;
Flexible and adaptable to change.
