Companies within The Fieldstone Group of Companies ("TFG") have conducted operations in homebuilding, land development, land entitlement and related businesses since 1981. Since its founding, TFG has constructed and sold more than 35,000 attached and detached homes in Southern California, Texas and Utah for a total sales volume over $6.2 billion.
In 2013, TFG made the decision to focus its future operations in the greater Salt Lake City area of Utah. As a result, TFG will be expanding its Utah operations and relocating its main offices from Irvine, California to Draper, Utah.
Fieldstone began operations in Utah in 1998 ("Fieldstone Utah") and has constructed and sold over 3,200 homes in the Greater Salt Lake market, making it the 3rd largest homebuilder in Utah over the past fifteen year period and today we are ranked in the top 10.
Fieldstone Utah has constructed and sold a variety of product types (primarily detached homes, but also including attached homes) at various price points and in various locations in Salt Lake City and surrounding areas. Today Fieldstone Utah is focusing on locations that are close to current or growing employment centers with products focused on efficient yet highly marketable designs, and spec levels that meet the needs of our buyers. Our internal operations are focused on operational excellence including value-engineering, centralized scheduling, and cost efficiencies through product design and efficient systems. Position Responsibilities
Read and analyze contracts, bank loan documents and partnership agreements and monitor compliance with agreements.
Prepare job cost summary reports for management team.
Prepare and analyze budget to actual variances.
Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for joint venture partners.
Assist with internal management and external lender/joint venture partner questions.
Review revenue, cost of sales and other month-end closing entries.
Prepare quarterly financial statements for each company.
Assist in preparation of quarterly business plan projections and updates.
Track and reconcile intercompany transactions.
Run bi-monthly payroll and related reporting.
Assistance with welfare and retirement plan reporting and related employee assistance.
Strong commitment to accuracy
Strong communication skills
Good organization and time management skills
Strong computer skills including accounting software packages (FAST a plus), Microsoft Excel and Word (Microsoft PowerPoint a plus)
Previous experience with payroll and benefits a plus
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of accounting experience, real estate preferred
Ability to read and understand complex financial data
Work effectively as part of a team

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
