Estimator
Bach Homes Multi-Family & Land Development Division is seeking an experienced estimator for numerous current and upcoming projects. Bach is currently building multi-family apartments in the Mountain West region with planned expansion into the Mid West and developing single-family and multi-family subdivisions along the Wasatch Front.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Create cost estimates for loan packages
Assemble bid packages with all construction documents
Obtain and negotiate all bids from subcontractors.
Administer all contracts with subcontractors
Administer and implement all change orders.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager.
Infrequent travel may be required.
This is a critical position for Bach, and we require the following experience to be considered:
College Degree or related experience in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.
Preferred experience as a General Contractor rather than a Subcontractor.
Ability to read civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical and structural blueprints at an expert level.
Read and understand scopes of work and plan specifications.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and proficient in Outlook and Word.
Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task is a must.
Familiarity with land development and high density construction.
