Job Duties:
-Responsible for providing telephone, email, chat, and remote diagnostic technical support of desktops, portables, periphals (e.g. printers, projectors, etc.), and software
-Answer questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization, and useage of assigned products
-Apply diagnostic techniques to identify problems
-Document problems in the support solution database for diagnostics and solution implementation
-Respond to customer technical problems/issues related to hardware, software, and networking via email/chat and phone
-Monitor and track issues to ensure accurate resolution
Basic
Qualifications:
-Minimum 2 years working in a technical support position
-High school degree or equivalent
-Proficient in MS Office, Windows OS, including XP, 2003, Vista, 2008, 7, 8
-General network knowledge (TCP/IP, gateways, firewalls)
-Understand VOIP
-Strong written and verbal communication
Preferred
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
-Understand AD, Group Policies
-Understand ITTIL standards
