Our Utah Nursery and Landscape Company has an immediate opening for an Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate would have a minimum Associates degree and work experience. Must be Professional, Organized, & Self-motivated with Quickbooks experience to join our team in our Draper, UT office. Our company is a well-recognized Landscape Contractor specializing in Design/Build Landscape construction, Landscape Maintenance, Fertilization, Pest Control, Nursery & Supply Center.
Purpose:
The Accounting Manager role requires an energetic person to efficiently perform & manage all of the day to day accounting for our multiple company office such as A/R, A/P, invoicing, bill payment, collection, processing tax payments, filing worker's compensation reports, processing payroll taxes and sales tax, journal entries, Process cash receipts, Record and manage merchant account transactions, Reconcile bank accounts, Reconcile credit card accounts, Track commission payments for salespeople.
Must be confident and capable of performing work independently and have the ability to work well as part of a team.
Effective organizational and time management skills.
Sound computer skills, including a strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Office applications.
Strong mathematical reasoning skills, allowing for the performance of basic mathematical calculations in a quick and accurate manner.
This is a full time position. Pay will be Salary/hourly and is commensurate with education, experience, skills and abilities.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
