Provide technical support expertise in a complex information infrastructure environment to integrate EMC products and systems with other EMC and non-EMC computer systems being operated by customers. Apply technical support expertise to independently diagnose and resolve complex customer issues involving unique systems and environments and unique operational issues. Accept escalated requests from other technical team members. Make independent decisions to determine service level severity and assess when and how to escalate to other resources. Work with cross functional teams in resolving customer issues and identify and provide resolutions to a diverse range of technical problems. Act as a remote customer advocate and provide problem determination to resolve customer issues. Interface directly with customers at different stages of problem resolution process including understanding issues customers are facing, communicating plans for resolution, explaining developments, and conveying resolution. Identify and document with management to proactively revise current procedures and tools to improve customer satisfaction. Review technical solution articles for accuracy and completeness, and give feedback to the authors. Validate technical information, issue early warnings and disseminate information. Help develop and participate in training and skills development of others. Communicate procedural and technical issues to internal and external customers in a fast-paced and customer-critical environment. Mentor and/or coach less experienced technical support engineers. Apply systems analysis techniques and procedures to determine hardware or software systems functionality. Apply technical knowledge to analyze and use highly technical troubleshooting tools and content and analytical practices to diagnose and resolve issues in unique and often complex customer environments. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related technical field and two years of work experience in job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Experience must include: 1) Network TCP/IP; 2) Storage technology; 3)Linux administration; 4)Web administrator experience on Apache/Tomcat; 5)NFS, CIFS troubleshooting skills; 6)Scripting experience on any platform (such as Ruby Rails, Python); 7) Postgres, Berkeley databases; 8)Technical Customer Support; 9) Centera/Centera Universal Access Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United StatesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
