Database Developer
Listen Technologies seeks a Database Developer in Bluffdale, Utah. Duties: (1) Responsible for adjusting database table fields, write queries, and create reports based on department needs in MS SQL Server; (2) utilize software to generate metrics and develops actionable recommendations; (3) provide support to management by collecting and analyzing data and reporting results in Excel and Crystal Report; (4) make modifications to current database applications based on departmental needs by .NET programming; (5) develop new database applications and reports to help departments become more efficient by using database and programming knowledge; (6) research, evaluate, and make recommendations and/or develop reporting, analytic and business intelligent tools; (7) maintain databases which include running various utilities or scripts to increase efficiency and performance by using SQL; (8) provide training on database applications including customizations and reporting tools to personnel; (9) assist in the administration of company databases and database servers including Microsoft Server 2003 and 2008, Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008; (10) assist in the administration of company database applications including SharePoint 2010, and Access 2007/2010; and (11) Such other related duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements: (1) Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field; (2) 24 months of database developer, .net programmer, or related experience; (3) demonstrable working knowledge of and demonstrated ability and proficiency in: (a) database schemas, relational databases and concepts; (b) MS SQL Server technologies; (c) SQL, Transact-SQL Scripting, and Query Analyzer; (d) IIS and Windows Server; (e) object-oriented development; (f) web based HTML; (g); ASP.NET; (h) CSS; (i) JavaScript; (j) .NET technologies including VB.NET, ADO.NET, WebForms, WinForm; (k) developing and maintaining Crystal Reports; (l) Excel/Access 2007/2010 development experience with VBA; and (m) Microsoft SharePoint 2010.
