Position
Summary: The Web Designer will join the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium to assist in all aspects of producing digital content for web, print, and video projects under the direction of the Art & Design Manager.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Assist with all aspects of producing digital content for web, print, and video projects
Provide assistance to Art & Design Manager as needed, project by project
Perform other duties as assigned
Education:
Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in an accredited college/university
Critical Skills/Competencies:
Strong working knowledge of The Adobe Creative Suite and basic knowledge of HTML, and CSS, JavaScript and/or PHP preferred. Experienced and well versed in the principles of design and the ability to follow art direction. High energy, initiative and a sense of urgency is required.
Scope of position:
Able to deliver consistent high quality designs on time and under demanding deadlines. Create designs that are consistent with LLPAs style guide. Work in multiple media formats, including; print, web, and video. Be able to work on projects independently, as well as the ability to work as part of a team on larger design projects.
Physical Demands of the Job:
This job requires periods of standing and walking as well as extended periods of sitting while designing.
Special Working Conditions:
Job will primarily be in an office environment. Periodic weekend or evening work is expected and some holidays.
