Job Description
Title: Administrative Assistant

Reports to the Director of Land Acquisitions

Responsibilities
Work as point of contact for the land development and homebuilding departments.
Assist managers in preparing for internal and city meetings.
Receive, code, and retrieve necessary approvals for all vendor invoices.
Create and maintain community packets for hand off to various departments.
Effectively interact with external parties to include municipalities, third party consultants, brokers, title companies and other real estate related companies.
Assist in gathering data to generate, organize, and maintain budget templates.
Review purchase contracts and track all necessary milestones, obligations, dates, and closings.
Oversee closing checklists, verifying any necessary items have been resolved prior to closing.
Review title, survey, and supporting documents and aid Director with preparation of title comments and objections.
Coordinate setup of HOA s and ARC s.
Qualifications
Strong reporting and communication skills.
Must be self-directed with sensitivity to timelines and issue resolution.
Associates or Bachelor s degree preferred. Experience of 1-2 years in or related to real estate, title insurance and escrow, transaction coordination, administrative assistance, land development, land acquisition, Homeowner s Associations, planning and/or related fields preferred.
Computer Skills:
Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Demonstrate an ability to learn and utilize Fieldstone s software and database software.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
