Expeditor/ Assistant Superintendent
Job Description
Responsible for supervising some aspects of house production and quality control. Works under the supervision of a Superintendent or Construction Manager.
Qualifications
-High School Diploma or GED. Two or four year college degree preferred.
-Typically 2-3 years responsibility in residential or construction related experience; i.e. subcontract work, customer service, sales, exeditor, and/or remodeling. Experience in field supervision helpful.
-Strong communication skills and ability to deal with individuals at all levels
-Good organizational skills and planning ability
-Read all blueprints-onsite/architect plans and offsite/engineering plans and grading plans.
-Detail oriented to handle the specifics involved
-Strong oral and written communication skills
-Takes pride in all work performed
-Is anxious to learn new aspects of job
-Listens and observes
-Has an open mind and positive attitude
-Is concerned with the success of organization
-Accepts responsibility for commitments
-Continually seeks improvementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
