Construction Superintendent

Job Description
Title: Construction Superintendent: in charge of the construction of homes in multiple communities.
Full-time salaried position with benefits
Reports to the Regional Construction Manager
Driving required
Responsibilities
Construction Management.
o Responsible for the construction of detached and attached homes.
o Maintain good working relationships with Building Authorities within operating area.
o Maintain good working relationships with customers, trade contractors, and vendors.
o Coordinate with customers, internal sales agents, and operations staff to ensure that homes are built with correct options, and according to the Model Home Finish Standard.
Quality Control
o Build homes according to plans and specifications.
o Ensure that all customer options are installed correctly.
o Inspect every home under construction each day for quality and option installation.
Schedule Management
o Coordinate with trade contractors and vendors to avoid schedule delays.
o Report variances and adjust schedules.
Cost control
o Ensure jobsites are ready for scheduled activities to avoid trades and vendor trip charges.
o Review and code invoices for variance purchase orders.
Job Site Management
o Administer safety program, including jobsite tool box talks.
o Ensure jobsite cleanliness and compliance with SWPPP program
Qualifications
Experience/Education
Bachelor s degree preferred. Applicants should have 3-5 years of experience in a construction superintendent position.
Computer Skills
Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Spreadsheets, and E-mail.
Demonstrate an ability to learn and utilize Fieldstone s software and database software

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
