Diesel mechanic to work on heavy excavating equipment
Responsibilities
Maintaining and repairing a large fleet of excavating equipment. Must be familiar with electrical, hydraulic, and diesel engine repairs on heavy equipment, and understand track equipment and under carriage repairs and maintenance. Responsibilities include:
-Diagnose problems
-Determine options for repair/replace
-Order parts and schedule machine shop work
-Work efficiently to repair equipment
-Get along with others
-Have fun doing all the above
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with experience repairing and maintaining heavy excavating equipment, mainly yellow iron and trucks. Please don't apply if you aren't experienced in this type of work. They need to be self-directed, punctual, dependable, and easy to get along with. We prefer someone who is looking for a long-term employment relationship who can grow with our company and will take pride in the way they excel at what they do. We are a medium sized, family-owned company with a friendly work atmosphere, and because we love what we do, we're looking for someone who loves what they do. We work all year long, rain or shine, snow or heat.
