Staff Accountant

We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role entails working with various individuals throughout multiple departments of the company to input sales and other data into the accounting system (Microsoft Navision). This individual will assist in the preparation of the monthly close, including performing daily tasks such as processing purchase orders and creating invoices. While this role involves a high volume of data-entry, strong communication skills are required as the individual will need to communicate regularly/daily with customers, vendors, distributors, salesmen and other StorageCraft personnel, both domestic and international.

Responsibilities:
Prepare accounting related entries to numerous registers, journals and logs
Follow and assist with the established accounting processes
Perform monthly bank reconciliations
Process sales orders, create invoices and contact customers and distributors as necessary
Assist with all billing related transactions, including the creation of accounts, vendors and customers
Record journal entries and other transactions within the accounting software (Microsoft Navision)
Staff Accountant Prerequisites:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Able to read and understand technical forms and financial reports
Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
