SUPERVISORY SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST (Title 5)

This position is located in the Property Management Branch, Supply and Services Division, United States Property and Fiscal Office (USP&FO). Program Manager/supervises subordinates in two sections, the Supply Accountability Assistance Instruction Team (SAAIT) and Property Asset Managers. Its purpose is to plan, organize, review, evaluate and supervise the work of the branch office and to perform analysis of supply procedures, services, directives and management functions of the branch. DUTIES:
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Reviews, analyzes, and interprets supply directives and procedures. Formulates and recommends operating procedures to achieve optimum support to the logistics program on matters pertaining to property accountability. Develops and provides data for property accountability of supported units/activities to the Supply Management Officer (SMO), Director of Logistics (DOL), United States Property and Fiscal Officer (USP&FO) and the Readiness Committee. Is responsible for branch office logistical support program to ensure units/activities receive guidance and assistance required to correct problems and deficiencies. Analyzes results of property book reconciliations to determine if systemic problems exist. Coordinates with Army Material Command (AMC), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and National Guard Bureau (NGB) program managers to effect receipt of required equipment to support readiness objectives. Experience:
Must have at least one (1) year of experience at the GS-07 level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience (12 months) in the private or public sector supervising and/or managing supply personnel and a variety of supply functions. Knowledge on inventory management supply systems. Experience coordinating with other organizations on complex and controversial supply issues. Experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulations to upper levels of management regarding supply functions. OR Education If you are using Education to qualify for this position, Do you have a Master's or or equivalent graduate degree OR you have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR you have successfully completed an LL.B. or J.D. degree that is related to the position being filled. Experience:
Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid work on the same basis as for paid experience. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. To receive credit for such experience you must indicate clearly the nature of the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the number of hours per week spent in such employment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
